Rewards of my current obsession

It all started with Spaceman Spiff. A month or so ago, I was just going through my blogroll, loyally checking if any of the blogs have any updates even though if they had not got updated for the past few months. From Vineeth’s The unabridged Version of Life, I hit on Spaceman Spiff’s Senseless Sense? Or Sensible Nonsense?. Lo and Behold, I hit upon a mother lode of blog-o-treasures to read, read and read more. From there, my journey has never ended. So, I present here some awesome bloggers, whose blogs I hit upon recently, each as priceless as the next. Tada.

Spaceman Spiff : As already mentioned, the start of my journey. I really get lost in the tangles of her posts. Captivating, mesmerizing her posts are. Once you start, everyday you will want nothing more than a post from her.

PeeVee™ : Mind-boggling writer that she is, her every post touches a chord inside you somewhere, somehow. The chocolate-obsessed makes readers from all over the world obsessed with her blog.

Kalpak : The noises that his empty vessel makes are sure to make you go rolling on your floor, clutching your stomach, tears of laughter running down your face. I was just following his blog silently, until today. Made my first comment there and headed to post about him here. 🙂

Maithili : She doesn’t stop with just One Such Story, but continues to write heart-stopping, beautiful stories. It is because of her that we got Darlings of Venus, the next on my list. And it is because of her, I got to know so many bloggers. I owe you one big hug, Maithili. *hugs*.

Darlings of Venus : A bunch of female bloggers pitching in to make an awesome recipe of posts that present you all the flavours of life. I just love the blog name and its speciality is the variety it gives you. I am proud to say that I am a member. (A single native of Mars- The FreeLancer, got caught among the Darlings of Venus and he is holding up pretty good, I would say 😛 )

Mystical Skeptical Me : As mystical and skeptical as she is, MSM’s posts never fail to make you go open-mouthed in awe and wonder and you will find it hard to come to normal again.

Meoww : So crazy about cats that she chose her pen-name as meoww, hailing all the madness in the world, this sweet girl will give you the touch of childish madness that everyone longs for. So honest in her writing, you do not feel like reading a blog. Instead, you feel like you are actually listening to her talk. You would never want the post to end.

There are a lot more of blogs that I have read recently like Pannipuri Lover’s Sanely Insane, Sumitra’s iThink, iBlog, Viya’s A peek into my life and so on.. Just that I have not found enough time to dig the rest of these blogs. 🙁 I am working on it 🙂

2 new things

I have come up with a Spillover page where I spill out my inane thoughts that race in my mind. Nothing that I can say in particular! Anyway, it will more of micro-blogging, if I may say. 🙂

Also, I have started writing at Darlings of Venus which is one awesome blog sculpted by a bunch of awesome writers. I joined it in the serious hope that I could write as well as those bloggers, one day.

6 Reasons why I blog!

First of all, I like reading. Hence, my thoughts are influenced as well as challenged by stuff I read. And, it always feels better to pour out what you think than to struggle inside.

Second, there will be some times when you are so bored, that any of your usual ways to while away the time will seem too-lazy-to do-it, but blogging will not be. The reason being you can even put up a post on why you are bored, what you are bored about and all such crap. If you are witty enough, you can make a good post on any topic.

Third, it is just fun to type. You can call me crazy, but I love to type. If it was still the time for typewriters, I would have started out to make a good typist.

Fourth, since my childhood, I love to have an unrestricted freedom of expressing what I think. I have fought my way long and hard to achieve that, till now. Blogging gives me that freedom and I use it well.

Fifth, I have a liking for presentation aspects. I like the feeling when I think hard to find the exact words that would put forth my racing thoughts. Occasionally I take a break and just blog spontaneously.

Sixth, w.r.t to my Cognizant blog, I get rewarded with Wah points. W.r.t my blog here, I can put all the crap I can which is inappropriate to put in a corporate blog forum and yet can say-“This is my blog and I will put whatever I want” 😛

These reasons are the ones that I picked from the top of my head and in no chronological order of importance.

Spontaneous!!

Hi people 🙂

I have always wanted to write a post without wracking my brains to find the perfect way to present my words. This is my first try at writing as words race around my mind and let us see how it goes.

The weekend was simply awesome and I can’t tell you reasons for that 😛

Yesterday and today at office-as hectic and irritating as ever,yet I am recently picking up on learning to shrug off irritations(I suppose) 😉

Have regained my obsession with Happy Aquarium on facebook.In addition to me being addictive to the game, am also having a loved slave who feeds and trains my fish 😛

I cannot just bear when people around me want me to make decisions for them. I just hate such people who cannot decide what they want or have to do and ask others’ guidance for each and every possible crap.

I came to realize that “Certain people never change!!” and that they are capable of utter stupidity.

I got a hell a lotta gifts for this bday and every one of them was great. I never got so many wishes (Thanks to FB-my wall got flooded with around 64 wishes-yeah I counted them :P) as on this 20-10-2010. Thanks a lot ppl 🙂

I cannot help wondering how people turn out to be when I keep thinking that they cannot be like that. I have had a lot of impressions or say, nice opinions about my classmates at college and they proved me wrong. This has happened more than once for me and every time it was guys who did that.

I decided not to tell anyone about writing this post, but failed at this(Told a friend that am doing this post, just because he asked “what are you doing?”-Come on, I was being spontaneous while writing a spontaneous post and told him the truth) 😛

I really want to learn typing without looking at the keyboard.(I type reasonably fast yet, I can’t type without looking at the keyboard) Praveen made this craze grow even more with his superfast fingers.

I am sitting at office and doing this post, just because the person who has to give me instructions on proceeding about the work is  “Away”. Also, I might be held up at office until 10.00 P.M. today and I totally hate it.

I love shiny,glassy things and go crazy about them.

I go into this “oh no! Not again!” mood when my dad starts advising me and then again feel guilty for being so.

I am a spendthrift. Every month I spend money senselessly and at the end of the month, i bug Adhi to help me manage my accounts and sort them out for the next month. This month might be better because of Adhi’s “Expenses” spreadsheet where every penny I spend is accounted.

Missing Ramya even more after meeting up with her just recently. She is my ditto as you might have known from an earlier post and I love that “ditto” nickname  which she invented for herself 🙂

I guess my spontaneity is coming to an end as I don’t get any more random thoughts to my mind.

I am thinking that you are bored to the core already.Yeah! I mean you! *Pointing you*

I started reading the book  “Between the Assassinations by “Aravind Adiga” last month and haven’t finished it yet. That’s because I didn’t read it for more than 1 day from when I bought it.However, I am feeling bad now because I never leave a book unattended to. Hoping to finish it soon 🙂

Okay. I have bored you people enough. As the same thought became redundant in my mind and hence the post, am stopping here and posting it without even previewing the post. 🙂

Import tragedy+2nd review

Hi people,

Sorry if you had subscribed to my blog and received some posts which seemed out of order, via e-mail. I tried to import something from a previous blog of mine which I shared with a friend. It ended up as a tragedy.

With regards to the second review,it went on well without much difficulties for me. Luckily, I was the first person to present and there was no place for relative comparison. My guide did not ask much questions and the programme co-ordinator was silent all the time. So with only the tutor asking a few general questions, it was a cake-walk.Being back at hostel,I am enjoying the luxury of being idle and sleeping all the time.However at the same time,missing my all-time internet addiction 😉 Anyway,being back with friends is too good to spoil my mood for any reason 🙂
