Ripples of my Reflections

“Singara” Chennai!!

1 week @ Chennai, I couldn’t help coming up with this:

Chennai, being the capital of our state, deserves to be in a much better state than it is now. Almost all the places, are full of scattered wastes and small pools of water. Obviously, the flies and mosquitoes follow. The “??? ???? ??? ?????! ??? ???? ???????? ????????????!” boards are silently crying out for attention. With so much population in the city, doesn’t the city deserve a better maintainance? Leave aside the government. It has never done much. Why can’t the people living here, refrain from polluting the environment in all possible ways?? I doubt if the residents have got used to living in such detestable environments. When I complained about this to a friend, I got this response-” ?????? America  ? ??????? ???? ?????? ?????”. I am asking-“Why not? Is there any rule that only that America should have good living conditions?” How much ever we talk about this, it just remains a rant. If the country will continue to be in such conditions with respect to environment, there’s no use in just developing the economy and other aspects of the country.

P.S: The C.M. is very clever to plan the “much-needed” ??? ???????? ?????? at Coimbatore, which is pretty good as of now. Here comes June 23rd to spoil that. With so many people crowding and littering the city, I am sure that Coimbatore is going to lose its grace.

Finally!!

Hi all,

It’s been a long time, feels good to come back. Finally moved to Chennai (The PG is really good with respect to food and other aspects are manageable) and became an employee 🙂 I am currently using the quota time given here, but I guess 1 hr daily is enough for me, a person who has seen so much of only browsing centres. (I heard many colleagues complaining because they might have had greater liberty during their internships) As for me, am doing good with whatever is there for me. Just caught up with my friends’ blogs and finally mine too. This is just a come-back post and I will be back with some good one.

Until later:)

P.S: I don’t like Chennai though. Bangalore was better indeed IMHO.

What I have been upto!!

Since my last post, I

1. Joined driving class and am giving the local people on the road a tough time, with my driving tricks 😛

2. Learnt a little more of cooking and am testing my skills on my family. 😉

3. Applied for passport and License. After so long, I decided that I should get the license and passport only for the call to Chennai spoil it 🙁

4. Got my call letter. 🙂 Going to Chennai, seems to be an exciting turn in my life, as a new life beckons. Still I got the usual fears that everything should go right and stuff. Let’s see.

5. Spending almost all the time am awake, on phone.

6. Got spanking new Ubuntu 10.04 installed in my laptop and enjoying it. Thanks to a certain Friend 😉

7. Watched “Karthik calling Karthik” and “Kites” and a lot of animation films. The 1st movie kept me at the edge of my seat until I suddenly guessed the centre plot. (Thanks to Sidney’s “Tell me your dreams”).

With nothing much happening , there’s nothing to blog too. I just don’t have it in me to blog about general issues(I tried out a few, but then decided better not to post them) The only thing am expecting now, is my bro’s return from the US to Chennai. Once that happens, life is to enjoy 🙂

Until later 🙂

So many things happening!!!

Hi all 🙂

Being at home, the few things I miss very much are blogging, college and friends. I don’t know when my dad will have the enlightenment to buy me a “plug-to-surf” connection. So many things happening with their own due positives and negatives. 🙂 I never expected such a response for my google buzz. Anyway, things are starting to go in the right way. For example, finally, I did it. I mean, I applied for driving license after 6 years of illegal roaming around, without a license. 😛 Then the passport thingy, car driving thingy.. everything has been given a start. Lets see how everything ends.

Until later 🙂

P.S: Some people might get a different perspective of this post if they know what they are looking for 😛

Plan A always works!!

The last few days of hostel life seem to be so short yet so long!!! As friends leave one by one, the expectation of seeing them within 2 or 3 days as we usually do, crops up and then I tell myself that it’s not the case this time. However, no use spilling tears over it, because life gets its way always.

I have enjoyed these last few days @ hostel to the maximum extent possible, with my friends. The highlight of our mischiefs is that the hostel rule of being inside within 7:00 P.M. does not hold true for us. The reason is that we are intern students!!!! (Though some of us have finished the internships and some are gonna continue it, the hostel authorities do not know that) 😉 With this advantage, for the past 1 month I have been entering and leaving hostel whenever I want. Every time anyone asks me anything, the reply will invariably be ” I am an intern student. I have vacated the hostel and come for review or report submission or….” 🙂

I shared this technique with my other friends too, who got excited (though scared) and the outings increased as the period of our hostel life shortened. We always have 3 plans:

Plan A- Do not make eye contact with anyone @ the security cabin. Just go out and come in!!!!

Plan B- If they ask  you, tell “?????????? ???? ??????? ?????, I am an intern student”

Plan C- Still problems? Tell “??????? ??? ???????? ???????. ???????? ?????????” (This plan is mute because we wont have any travelling bags)

However, Plan A always works!!! Still, I have used Plan B on a voluntary basis, just to please the security. That too, when  I really come from my home .So why worry about Plan C being mute??? 😉 😛

As a final feat, we brought a day scholar friend into the hostel with us under the pretense of the same internship. Actually, this is quite an achievement given the fact that it’s difficult to bring day scholars inside the hostel( We have tried that once in 1st year and were caught red handed and had a difficult time in escaping). ???????? 1st year? ?????? final year? ?????????????? 😛 . Being vetti, taking so many photos trying to preserve our best moments together, chatting about all the stuff we have done, should have done, have not done, should not have done in the past 4 years, reading the slam books and having surprising revelations are too good to stop doing it.

For me, these few days are gonna end tomorrow, as I am vacating (???!!! I vacated hostel long back, when I went for internship ;)) the hostel tomorrow. So much fun… No reason to stay @ hostel, no reason to leave it either!!! ( last line is a stolen status msg 😛 😉 )

Until later 🙂
