What I have been upto!!

Since my last post, I

1. Joined driving class and am giving the local people on the road a tough time, with my driving tricks 😛

2. Learnt a little more of cooking and am testing my skills on my family. 😉

3. Applied for passport and License. After so long, I decided that I should get the license and passport only for the call to Chennai spoil it 🙁

4. Got my call letter. 🙂 Going to Chennai, seems to be an exciting turn in my life, as a new life beckons. Still I got the usual fears that everything should go right and stuff. Let’s see.

5. Spending almost all the time am awake, on phone.

6. Got spanking new Ubuntu 10.04 installed in my laptop and enjoying it. Thanks to a certain Friend 😉

7. Watched “Karthik calling Karthik” and “Kites” and a lot of animation films. The 1st movie kept me at the edge of my seat until I suddenly guessed the centre plot. (Thanks to Sidney’s “Tell me your dreams”).

With nothing much happening , there’s nothing to blog too. I just don’t have it in me to blog about general issues(I tried out a few, but then decided better not to post them) The only thing am expecting now, is my bro’s return from the US to Chennai. Once that happens, life is to enjoy 🙂

Until later 🙂

So many things happening!!!

Hi all 🙂

Being at home, the few things I miss very much are blogging, college and friends. I don’t know when my dad will have the enlightenment to buy me a “plug-to-surf” connection. So many things happening with their own due positives and negatives. 🙂 I never expected such a response for my google buzz. Anyway, things are starting to go in the right way. For example, finally, I did it. I mean, I applied for driving license after 6 years of illegal roaming around, without a license. 😛 Then the passport thingy, car driving thingy.. everything has been given a start. Lets see how everything ends.

Until later 🙂

P.S: Some people might get a different perspective of this post if they know what they are looking for 😛

If I were a guy!!!

Hi all 🙂

Finally, I am done with the report stuff after facing so many problems.  Free till the next fiasco, viva-voce.

The topic of this post might seem funny or idiotic. However, I have often come across comments or remarks like “You should have been a guy!!” or “You behave like a guy!!”. Hence, this post.

I don’t regret this life of a girl because I take all the liberty that I can afford or sometimes, even more than I can afford (Thanks to my dad!!!). From childhood, my dad gave me all the freedom that was needed for me to stand up to anything I want. So, if I were actually a guy, these are the things I might have done:

1.I would have definitely been taller. 😛

2. I would have never been home before late night.

3. I would have watched all the movies with my friends, especially night shows. You can guess what mischief I will be up to at the theatre  😉

4. I would have been sent out of class for some reason on alternate days, because that’s when I will be coming to college.

5. I might have formed a gang of my own in the class or maybe I could have had the whole class as a gang 😛

6. I would have been more into cricket, fighting for teams that I support.

7. Midnight walks on the lonely road with a gang of friends would have interested me.

8. I would have never considered my dad’s scoldings though they are reasonable.

9. I would have been crazy about bikes and cars.

These are some might-be’s that come to my mind if I think – “If I were a guy….”  because I wish to do all these now, but am not able to, for reasons that you know:) However, life is the best as it is. So no regrets, no complaints…

Until later 🙂

Home trip+Isha Yoga+Online training

Hi all, 🙂

I had gone on a 3 days trip to home with one of my friends accompanying me. The main purpose of our visit was the yearly festival in a nearby village, where we go and provide food for people ( ????????? )on that particular day. Apart from the enjoyment part, I was amazed by the amount of work those people do in spite of the scorching heat. I could not take my eyes off as they cooked so much food without much facilities. Altogether, the experience was an enlightening one to me, as I often complain even for the smallest of discomforts.

Coming to Isha yoga,I have none but my bro and my dad to blame. My brother was the one who advised my dad to pursue this 7 days yoga course, who jumped the gun instantly. Now, unable to bear the nagging of my dad, I have joined the course. I am perfectly alright with the yoga part of the course. It is the “bodhana” part of the course that gives me the usual classroom feel and I can’t help as my eyelids close, as if the switch is on. They talk about peace, responsibility and stuff which gives a philosophical feel, though it may be true if you go deeper. As of now, having attended 2 days of the class, I keep my eyes open only for the yoga part of the class. Rest is up to ???? I don’t know!!! 🙁

Online training provided by my recruiter – My god! I cannot believe how tedious (or maybe boring, on a second thought) it has become. Initially, I managed with the easier sections. The only mistake that I did was that I took the advantage of taking a break from my regular schedule and went home. Now, I find it very difficult to sit and go through the course and take up the tests. Added to all the stuff,Abstract submission, Report submission etc have come up to give me pains in the neck. To people, who ask-“Hey, You completed your project long ago na? Then you have been vetti all these days na? You could have done these to some extent na?”, I have gone deaf temporarily to such questions. Come on,guys. I was enjoying the last few (?!?!?) days of my college life being vetti 😛

Anyhow, with a tight schedule, I am running short of energy. It is better that I pack up my laziness and get started.

Until later 🙂

Mock+Interview tragedy

After a long break,I am back…

A lot has happened over the past week. The mock interview organised for our juniors,a dual company tragedy and some usual stuff.

Not to say, the mock interview went on well.I was particularly impressed by a guy’s performance, which was too good(Also, maybe because other candidates were kinda shy) On the other side,I enjoyed well with friends.

Then,a dual company visited our campus. I purposely did not do the written test well, but you know, things happen when you least expect them and I was short-listed. So,I decided to make the interviwers turn me down. The problem was that I actually did not know how to under-perform(Given the fact that, I had never had a chance of performing in interviews, except one which led to my placement). So, I was so scared that I might perform well(What an Irony 😉 ) because the interviewers were not going to go deep into tech-stuff. Finally I managed to say “I don’t know, sir” for everything they asked including a question on Ohm’s law :(. So I was saved from doing a mistake. However till now I cannot get over the feeling of saying “I don’t know, sir” when my interviewer asked this question-“What is the current drawn by a load having 5 ohms resistance and 10 volts of power supply across it?” 🙁

I have nothing interesting at hand for blogging at the moment. Will be back once I am ready with some stuff.

Until later 🙂
