Sara took a deep breath as she flipped through the yellowed pages of the book. Strangely she felt nothing but a void in her heart while her head clouded with memories of those happy times, when her dad would read out to her from that very book every night.
It was all fine until the day when he abandoned her mom and her for another woman and her daughter. Suddenly they had become old pages of an abandoned book.
She looked at the newspaper clipping of the βotherβ family, which had died in an accident. Or was it an accident?
This post is for for the prompt ‘Pages‘ @ Lillie Mcferrin Writes
Until later π
Oh they died!!! I felt sad for the protagonist until you killed the other family. Now I feel sad for them too.
Superb twist
Hmm, Revenge is a bitter thing they say.
oh spooky .. was it an accident .. did she do something .. hmmmm
Bikram’s
It’s an open ending for you guys to decide.
The ending puts the reader into so many possibilities! Nice one! π
Thank you!
WHOA!!!!! :D:D
Books… they always have some kind connection!!!
Very true!
I better watch out and maintain my distance from her.
Is revenge the answer for people making stupid choices?
I will say yes. But I would like to see them suffer every day of their life. Guess, I am more psychotic then I know. Revenge is a dish served cold, they say. ( umm.. No relevance. Just quoting something related to ‘revenge’).
Hmm, Some people make stupid decisions and it tempts others to do the same. If she had been wise enough and not ruled by emotions, she might have chosen a different path.
Some say there are no accidents….interesting.
Hmm maybe, maybe not!
That was one twist I didn’t see coming! Wow!!! Interesting one, Keirthana π
Thank you Aathira! It’s always a pleasure to see you here.
